Showed us where the food is grown and how it comes to the retail market and insights on daily food buying and local laws. The stops were where locals buy their food and it was delicious. "My daughter and I spent the most fun, educational, inspiring afternoon with Aimad last month! He gave us a primer on Moroccan history, showing us how people in Marrakech live, where they shop, how they think, all while taking us to the the numerous places where the locals eat. I informed Aimad in advance that we were absolutely NOT interested in looking at things to buy, and I deeply appreciated it that he listened and did not bring us to shops to be shown things for purchase. "We booked Driss as a food tour, however, we got our timings slightly wrong, and met up late from large lunch (our mistake). Driss waited over 40 minutes for us to arrive and was very accommodating to our situation (we were not very hungry). Driss’s excellent knowledge of the market allowed him to flex the tour to take us past the snacks, where we enjoyed some local delicacies. We asked to be shown handicrafts that expertly wove in to the tour. We fired many questions at Driss, all which he answered knowledgeably. His love, passion & knowledge for Fes and his culture shone through the whole tour as we not only saw all the food & drink we wanted but also saw some of the historical traditions of dying, weaving as well interesting sites, such as the University and the narrowest street in Fes. We rounded off our tour with some traditional tea in the most authentic location. We cannot recommend Driss highly enough."

He was also valuable sharing safety and security concerns with potential fraudsters on the train from Marrakech to Fes, we encountered one but was prepared thanks to Driss. We could tell Driss was well respected as we met his friends and colleagues. He is very knowledgeable of Fes and its history and all the Souks, vegetable and wet markets.
