He gave us a primer on Moroccan history, showing us how people in Marrakech live, where they shop, how they think, all while taking us to the the numerous places where the locals eat. I informed Aimad in advance that we were absolutely NOT interested in looking at things to buy, and I deeply appreciated it that he listened and did not bring us to shops to be shown things for purchase. He focused on things that he knew interested us: history and food, primarily.
