"Omar is a great guide. He was in touch before the trip to confirm details. He shared some cultural insights and then let us take it from there, peppering him with questions about Marakkesh and Morocco. Believe him when he says to take a private driver if your hotel is not in the Medina. Believe him when he says he has good local places for snacks and lunch. Ask him to take you to the bean sandwich place it was authentic and sublime. And believe him when he says he has great places to take you shopping. I had a list from NYT and Andrew Harper, Omar’s were better. He was hands off when we got to sites and just let us wander and explore. He timed places to visit to perfection he is reliable and punctual and a delight. I would use him again, recommend him without reservation . He does not over inform, you need to do some research before you come, so you can engage and get the most out of your time with him. Knowing what I know now, I would have listened more to his advice about what to see rather than the guide books"

"A lovely evening spent walking in parts of the medina that many will not find or experience. Artisan tradespeople working in their stores. No hustle or bustle and time to spend looking around. Great to see the intricate wood carvings - remember to look up. Make sure that you get the option to get onto a rooftop terrace to see across the city."
