" We had an amazing time exploring Casablanca on a food tour with a wonderful guide, Youssef! We started off strong with Khlea (beef preserved in fat, served with eggs) and fresh mint tea. Next, we visited the market for fresh oysters, crab, and shrimp—absolutely delicious (at least for me, though the rest of the group gave it a brave try too!). We then stopped at a local juice bar for some unique concoctions—fruit blended with Oreo, KitKat, and even coffee. It sounds like a culinary crime, but it was surprisingly refreshing and tasty! After trying traditional pastries, we arrived at the ultimate highlight: cow stomach, foot, head, and udder. Honestly? The texture requires a bit of perseverance! But thanks to the delicious spices and good olive oil, it was okay, and overall a hilarious experience we wouldn't have missed for the world. We wrapped up the tour relaxing on a terrace with tea, enjoying our pastries, and saying goodbye to our fantastic guide. If you're in Casablanca and want a unique, local, and adventurous food experience, this tour is a absolute must! Highly recommended!"

"What a delight to be met by Abdallah off the shuttle bus from the cruise port . Communication superb pre tour . We had a comfortable walk through the centre of Casablanca with the charming Abdallah. He enabled us to try street food along the way telling us about the history and also about himself , family and hobbies . We ate some incredible food with him and he understood our request not to eat certain foods . He bought fish from the market and we went to a restaurant where they cooked it and served it alongside some interesting tasty side dishes . All in all a fabulous experience I would definitely recommend without hesitation. "

"Youssef's food tour was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted to try a bunch of different Moroccan dishes that locals would eat in Casablanca and I wasn't disappointed. From fresh oysters at the fish market to snails on the street to a sampling of tagines (so many different parts of the cow!) to delicious Moroccan pastries with mint tea; and that's just scratching the surface! Booking the evening tour was truly the right choice because the vibes were different and the sun wasn't as hot. "Youseff was fun, interesting, and informative! The four of us learned about the food, history, and culture of Morocco. We sampled items at a juice bar, patisserie, and fish market while strolling the streets of Casablanca. Our seafood meal: oysters on the half shell, sea bass, witchy fish, shrimp, and sole accompanied by Moroccan salad, Zaalouk (eggplant dip), and a Spicy Carrot Dip, with plenty of bread was scrumptious! "I had such a thoroughly enjoyable experience in Casablanca with Youssef. I was in town for only one day and had the afternoon set aside for this food tour. I sampled great local foods: breads, tagine, pastries, seafood, teas, juices. In between we wandered through the central market where I was able to buy local products like spices, oils, sardines. Also learned to haggle with merchants for other non food items. Youssef was warm, friendly with a great sense of humor. When walking around, always looked out for my well being. I dislike the term foodie but this is a great tour for people who like to eat and try new things. By the end, Youssef felt like family. I recommend it highly for an excellent insider's experience."

"Youssef did an excellent job taking us to off the beaten path places to try foods and learn about the Moroccan culture and people. We did a morning tour and tried the local form of a donut called svinge. Had lovely pastries, a wheat soup (like porridge), breads and, of course, Moroccan tea. Youssef is charming, full of energy, knowledge and deep love for his country. He adjusted the schedule to our desires and expertly led us thru the busy streets of Casablanca. Highly recommend him!! "
