She was so friendly and accommodating, answering endless questions, and showing beautiful and hidden things we would never have found ourselves. We got to try ‘tuba’, a local drink made using palm trees, and enjoys wonderful lunch nestled amongst trees along the river. Lots of knowledge of art and local culture, a foodie, and so evidently passionate about Puerto Vallarta, Maria was *exactly* what you hope to find in the ideal local tour guide.
