"I contacted Luz and asked her to set up a custom tour for me. I wanted to find some handmade jewelry to bring home for gifts. She took me through the artisan market and helped me find every last item on my list. We then took a stroll to try an amazing Gordita and finished off with a lovely walk through the historic central area of Mexico City. She’s knowledgeable about the area, had interesting facts about everything we saw and went out of her way to make me feel welcome and comfortable, which is no small feat. She even walked me to a good spot to catch an Uber and waited with me until I was picked up. I felt looked after from start to finish. "We had hoped to see the Frida Kahlo museum but couldn’t get tickets, but went to Cuoycan anyway and had very enjoyable tour with Al. It’s only about 25-30 mins from the city but it’s much slower, relaxed pace. We walked all along cobble stone streets to see some of the beautiful old homes, stopped in a watercolor painting museum, saw the town square and got some ice cream and churros. It was really nice way to spend our last day, highly recommend Al. "

Street side quesadillas, yes crickets(!), spicy candy, tacos, churros it was hard to keep up and you’ll be stuffed afterwards.
