      "We had a wonderful evening with Simona starting at 5:30 pm. Besides about food we learned a lot about Mérida as well. As we did this tour around dinner time the tour fed us more than enough with a nice street dessert as well. Highly recommend Simona, her English (as well as her Spanish) is excellent."

      Incredible Local Food Tour

      "Simona was incredible! She took us into the local Merida market. This market is a maze of incredible local seafood, meats, produce, and local goods. I would have gotten lost in this maze of shops, but Simona took us around to eat all the authentic local cuisine. She took us to see some sights and we ended at a local cantina. If you are interested in local authentic cuisine, Simona is your girl!"

Her warm attitude makes you feel like you are sharing a pleasant stroll with an old friend.       "The tour with Simona was greatly enjoyable, she’s personable and knowledgeable about the city and the food. She accommodated my requests and I had several items to taste, definitely more than the 10 advertised. It was a great start to my trip, I felt safe tasting all the different delicacies at the municipal market and had a good overview of the city, of Mexican history and daily life. Highly recommended!"
