Maya gave us a great introduction and orientation to the city's central core in Centro Histórico beginning at the Guadalajara Cathedral. She was upfront and clear about the route she would be taking us and what we'd see along the way. She was equally open to tailoring the experience to our particular agenda. This wasn't necessary as we were happy to proceed with the route Maya had planned. Maya was incredibly personable and easy to talk to. As an incredibly curious person, I peppered her with a million questions. She graciously answered all of them and was transparent about what was fact versus what was her personal opinion.
