Great one-day highlights tour of Kyoto
"Eiji provided a really good introduction to the city. We had arrived only the day before, so even something as simple as changing modes of transport as we wound our way around the city, was helpful for the rest of the trip. So too were all the cultural tips, and Eiji went out of his way to find lunch for us in - at our request - a 'proper ramen bar, the sort where working local people go'; we were the only tourists there, and loved it. He also, having learned of my love for Ghibli films, went out of his way to take us to the Ghibli store in the Gion area. We're both extremely well travelled, but Kyoto would be close to the tops of both of our lists, and Eiji's enlivened guidance really helped with this. "

Ted’s Excellent Adventures
"Our party of 4 had 2 day tour with Ted-San. He tailored the tour to our request but put a very unique twist by choosing wonderful sites that were not only beautiful but uncrowded. We were also able to see the Golden Pavilion without the usual hordes of tourists, a lucky opportunity! We had 2 delicious lunches recommended by our very professional driver from the M2 car service. We would not have experienced or understood Kyoto’s history without Ted’s incredible knowledge. I would highly recommend Ted-San to anyone considering a trip to beautiful, historic Kyoto."
