One highlight was a small museum featuring a life-size reconstruction of historic Osaka, where you can walk through houses, shops, and narrow back alleys and really get a sense of what the city was like in the past. She also led me down a tucked-away alley decorated with murals depicting Osaka’s history—something I easily would have walked past without ever knowing it was there. When it came to food, she made sure I experienced Osaka’s classics like takoyaki and kushiage, but the standout was maguro nakaochi—something I’d never heard of before and, without question, the best tuna I’ve ever had. Fay was an outstanding guide, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience as a solo traveler. She’s knowledgeable, flexible, easy to spend time with, and genuinely passionate about what she does. I would not hesitate to recommend Fay to anyone visiting Osaka who wants a truly personalized, memorable, and—most of all—fun experience."

"Pere (or Peri) is your guide if you are looking to do a food tour in Kobe. We ate so much food. So much good food that you will walk away from the tour wondering how you ate it all and how you are going to work it all off. Kevin and I are still talking about the pork dumplings from Chinatown that you have to wait about 15 minutes in line for to order. (IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!!) As you are walking to the locations, Peri does a great job talking about eh city, the food and culture so that it all ties together. He knows the holes small places to go so that you get an authentic experience and not just what is featured on Instagram or TikToK. He did an awesome job and we were lucky to book him!"
