"Nearly three weeks in Japan and about five tours, and Lucy was the best guide out of them all. She has lived in the area for some time, so has an understanding of Kanazawa and an appreciation of Japanese society and culture; but is not tied to it, as many Japanese people are so she is able to talk freely and objectively about the city and people. It was a nice leisurely stroll for about six hours, great sites and interesting places, but more than seeing things and explaining them, she gave us a feel about the place. A lovely person who was very interesting to spend the day with. "
