"The food tour with Claudia was simply one of the very best tours I've ever been on, She is so friendly and engaging, within 5 minutes it felt like we were just a group of friends going out together rather that any tour! She has incredible knowledge, a wonderful sense of humour and is kind beyond belief. As usual on a with locals food tour, we ate far too much, but the food was so tasty and the locations so thoughtfully chosen, it didn't feel overwhelming, rushed or too full. Claudia not only delivered a fantastic tour with lots of laughter and fun facts, she also went above and beyond and shared transport tips, a great option for Murano, and really helped us as a friend would with next plans. "Giada took us to 4 different venues for our 10 tastings, each with a different selection and ambiance. The first bacaro (bar) had an informal neighborhood feel and a wide selection of cicchettis. She explained the different kinds we sampled and about spritz’s. We ventured on to two more places, sampling more tasty items. We ended our evening in a neighborhood wine bar with a charcuterie board and wine. She explained the meats and the wine, then finished with a selection of 4 desserts from the pastry shop across the street. Giada was very knowledgeable about the wine, the food and the history. It truly was a taste of Venezia. And fun seeing it through her eyes. "
