"What a perfect introduction to Venice. Lucrezia’s passion for sharing her city with us through stories, curious facts and locations was engaging. It’s things like the early digital clock in the piazza, the specially carved cat water bowls at the town water cisterns and the ugly faces on the church bell towers that have stayed with us as we walk the streets and alleyways. Lucrezia taught us to read the sights and clues we’d normally walk past to bring the history of Venice to life. She was also able to link our movie goers knowledge of Venice to life through pointing out set locations and sights for well known James Bond and Spiderman scenes. Lucrezia’s tips on where to get the best tiramisu, gelato, fresh food, and the best Venetian restaurants to dine at have made us feel a little like seasoned locals. Leading up to our trip Lucrezia helped us understand how to get around with the public transport boats, and at the end of our tour she explained the best way to visit Murano and Burano.
