"4 of us did the 10 Tastings of Palermo tour with Gaetano. It was our 1st visit to the city and wanted to try authentic tastings while getting an intro to the layout of the old town and hear some stories. The street market was amazing - we would never have tried out so many things if alone. Also Gaetano gave wider recommendations about places to visit. We enjoyed Gaetano’s friendly and knowledgable company. I highly recommend the tour - but don’t have much breakfast beforehand! "

Yet this was my first time exploring Kalsa. You can tell Salvatore has a passion for his city and was very knowledgeable about the area we walked through. I was able to learn many new things about the history of the Kalsa and have a list of places to go back and explore on my own. I recommend this tour with Salvatore if you want to get away from the crush of the main Palermo sights and see a side that the locals experience, while learning how the city developed and expanded throughout the centuries.
