Yet this was my first time exploring Kalsa. You can tell Salvatore has a passion for his city and was very knowledgeable about the area we walked through. I was able to learn many new things about the history of the Kalsa and have a list of places to go back and explore on my own. "We were on a cruise and looking for just an overview of Palermo without a 3 -4 hour indepth guide. This kick start tour was very good and was exacetly what we were looking for: a snapshop of Palermo and its history and culture. We learned a lot, walked by a lot of places - Fabio made recommendations of things to go into if we had time after the tour - and the only negativre was that he did not let us know that most placdes closed from 2-4+pm for afternoon siesta. This is important as we would have timed our tour with him to be during Siesta period and walked around to see the artisans and stores prior to his tour. "
