"From the moment we met Francesco, we were captivated. He is a graduate of Roman Archeology and is so passionate as a story teller about this era. We were totally consumed by the delivery of his educational knowledge that the time flew! He visited Herculaneum first, which was utterly breathtaking and gave us the opportunity to understand the history in tranquility and harmony before moving onto Pompeii. They were a great contrast to do in the same trip. A quick lunch stop at a very nice authentic restaurant (great also for our dietary requirements) before heading up to Mount Versivius. As a guide, Francesco’s energy was boundless, he knew everyone and introduced us to them all - we felt like we belonged! Highly recommend! "
