"My mom and I really enjoyed our tour. We had a customized start near to our port and from there we experienced great food and company. Our food tastings did not disappoint and our locals view of the area included great local history and food information. We got to taste excellent fried seafood, a perfect margarita pizza where we got to see it being made, to the best mozzarella bites, a refreshing Spritz and Baba a rhum and a fantastic pasta ragu. All the little bites in between (dolce, Tarelle, espresso ) were excellent too. Personable, fun, with a little time for shopping added in. We highly recommend touring with Gennaro. Thank you to Peppe as well! All in all a great day!! "

"Our family of five including 2 children, ages 4 1/2 and 7 1/2 had a fantastic time with our private guide/driver Gennaro!! We had a very personal experience which included a beautiful drive and stops around Amalfi coast, fabulous pastry, and a once in a lifetime 4 course lunch (including wine and limoncello) at a private lemon/wine vineyard. "After two amazing weeks traversing southern Italy and Sicily, our bags are packed and we’re sadly heading back to “the real world.” Reflecting back on the many gorgeous sights we’ve seen, the copious amounts of scrumptious food we’ve eaten, and the overall pleasure of experiencing “la dolce vita” on this trip, our time with Gennaro in Napoli the day we arrived remains one of the highlights! We were supposed to have a traditional Neapolitan pizza-making class with Gennaro, but there were technical difficulties—hard to make pizza without a working oven, right?—and Gennaro offered us the option of refunding our money or taking us on a pizza food tour of sorts instead. We were starving and had our hearts set on good pizza so we opted for the latter. That was one of the best decisions of our holiday as we spent the next three hours walking through the heart of Napoli eating some of the best pizza of our lives (including deep fried pizza which was “to die for!!!”), seeing how it’s made, drinking cafe and wine, sampling other street food, and getting a history lesson at the same time. Gennaro is smart, funny, insightful, and a genuine pleasure to hang out with! We feel like we made a new friend. A friend who knows where to find the yummiest pizza in Naples! But he’s not 19… (*inside joke) Grazie mille, Gennaro!!! Til next time…"
