"Roberto was just great. He connected several weeks before our private tour and gave advice on buying tickets. He and we were running early so we started the tour before the scheduled time. As it was an afternoon tour we had the unexpected benefit of exploring a bit more post tour (Pompeii is vast). "My daughter and I went on a food tour in Naples with Genaro and honestly, it turned out to be so much more than just a food tour. Genaro is hilarious, incredibly passionate, and has this amazing way of bringing the city to life. You can immediately tell how deeply he loves Naples and how excited he is to share it with visitors. We expected to spend the tour simply eating our way around the city, but he gave us so much more than that. We were treated to a pizza making demonstration, introduced to landmarks and hidden corners beyond the usual tourist route, and given stories and history along the way that made the whole experience feel immersive and personal. What really stood out was that it never felt like we were being led around by someone reciting a memorised script. It genuinely felt like a friend proudly showing us around his city.
