"I've always dreamed of visiting Pompeii and the area around Vesuvius. Doing the tour with Raffaele was simply the icing on the cake. Because of the heat we opted for the smaller, but more intact Herculaneum (Ercolano), Unesco World Heritage Site. It exceeded our expectations. Not too crowded and fascinating. Raffaele gave us such insight into the dig, the existing ruins, history of the city, of the area - it came alive with his explanations. We loved it so much we booked another tour the next day to have lunch and see the colosseum where Sparticus trained and fought. Raffaele was so kind and made suggestions for our day trip to Naples the next day. Absolute worth every Euro!!! "
