"Francesco is a wonderful and generous guide whose passion for his home town and archeology shone through each of the stories he shared with us. His shared his expert knowledge with joy and zest, maintaining a pace that had us all, including our 3 teenage boys, hanging into his every word. Francesco has been the best tour guide we have had during our time in Italy. Pompeii is a huge complex site, however Francesco made sure that we not only saw but understood the best parts of it. He taught us to recognise specific aspects of the site for ourselves so that we were able to interpret what we saw around us. He answered the questions that popped into our heads as we moved around the site. Don’t miss having Francesco take you to the Herculaneum site as well, where the artefacts and preserved remains of are even more amazing. Coming all the way from Australia Francesco was happy to help us with working out the trains to get to Pompeii from Rome. Then as soon as a train strike impacted part of our travel he was in communication with us to help make sure we were still able to get to Pompeii. We cannot recommend Francesco more highly as a guide. He will transport you back in time and bring Pompeii and Herculaneum alive especially for you. "

"Rita is fantastic! Great communication leading up to the tour and she met us right when and where promised. We did a “food tour” but also learned so much about the local history and culture. We had a blast and she was very flexible to find food my son wanted to try and even a toy store for him along the way. We don’t love everything she had us try, but were glad to learn about and try traditional foods from the area. The pizza was, of course, ahhhmazing. Highly recommend Rita! "
