"WOW! What a fantastic day we had! But even before our day began, Gennaro was so helpful and offered so much help and assistance with other aspects of our visit to Italy. There were four of us, my husband and two adult daughters. He picked us up and immediately began with stories. We heard so many wonderful stories throughout the day. He took us a different way to the coast then the buses and other tourist so we were able to see how others lived in the countryside. We drove the entire coast, stopping at the popular spots and all along the way and learned a lot about the locations and history. He personalized the trip as you like. He was very kind, funny, knowledgeable and an excellent driver (which you really need on this highway!). Highly recommend this trip with GENARRO! "

"My daughter and I went on a food tour in Naples with Genaro and honestly, it turned out to be so much more than just a food tour. Genaro is hilarious, incredibly passionate, and has this amazing way of bringing the city to life. You can immediately tell how deeply he loves Naples and how excited he is to share it with visitors. We expected to spend the tour simply eating our way around the city, but he gave us so much more than that. We were treated to a pizza making demonstration, introduced to landmarks and hidden corners beyond the usual tourist route, and given stories and history along the way that made the whole experience feel immersive and personal. What really stood out was that it never felt like we were being led around by someone reciting a memorised script. It genuinely felt like a friend proudly showing us around his city. "After a little reluctance we booked Gennaro through this website for two fantastic days of travelling. We were based in Naples and did two day tours to the Amalfi coast region. Working with Gennaro was seemless. As soon as we got in the car the first day he said “I don’t have a watch, I’m here to make your day fantastic”. This really impressed me. He was a fantastic guide and took his time explaining everything and navigating the driving better than I ever could. Having someone who knows how to get around Naples and the coast is worth the money all by itself. Our tours included a limoncello experience with lunch and winery tour and lunch. Both were fantastic! Gennaro recommended them both and they were highlights for sure. He also helped arrange guided tours of the Path of the Gods (an incredible hike) and a walking tour of Pompei which was jaw dropping. He waited for us every step of the way and provided door to door service every morning and at the end of the day. He even took us to his favorite bakery for the best pastry we have ever tasted in our lives. It was honestly crazy how we’ve never had something this good in North America ever! He took us to Sorrento for a great walk along the water (my son even jumped in the water!) and pointed out the best spots to have an espresso. I have travelled rather extensively and always use private guides and Gennaro is among the best guides we have ever used. The personal touches were excellent. I was at first very reluctant using this service, since I have relied on travel agencies and their own guides, but I wanted to try this out and Gennaro made it all worthwhile. You honestly could not pick a better guide for your trip to Italy. Book him with complete confidence. "

"Once in a lifetime trip for hard working blue collar people from Texas. Hired Gennaro on a wing and a prayer for our first day in Italy because we had no idea where to start our week long trip. "We did the all day Amalfi tour with Gennaro. From the beginning to the end, he was fabulous. He tells us about the history and shares many interesting stories. He listened to everything we asked and delivered what we wanted. Especially amazing was the cafe in Ravello. We walked for a place to have a drink and look at fantastic view of the water. The cafe he directed us to was incredible. The view was spectacular, high up and we were able to enjoy the amazing weather and the view with our loved ones. Highly recommend him!"
