Most shopping areas feature women’s clothing or are mass produced making selection limited. Keit found several local artisans with high quality that satisfied both our desire to stay local and fit his style. This tour was indeed a highlight of our Milan visit!"

I had done some research on my own regarding fabric stores but her knowledge of Milan got us to places my Google search could not. She was fun and adaptable. "We didn’t have much time in Milan so we booked a fashion tour with Cat. We were taken to a lower profile street, where smaller, upcoming designer shops were present. Cat arranged for us to gain discounts at some of the shops. My wife and I scored in several stores, as my wife purchased boots in one store, and a skirt in another. I had been looking for some men’s boots, so she took us to this shop called Benheart, where we both scored on boots. I bought two pairs and could’ve easily bought 5. My wife scored again and bought 2 more pairs. The only unfortunate thing is that since we spent so much time at this store, we weren’t able to visit other stores, which cut time with Cat. Cat was pleasant, funny and easy to work with. Strongly recommend Caterina. "

"Caterina was exceptional! We came to Milan with a special purpose in mind- to find my fiance a suit for our wedding, but we didn’t know the first thing about suit shopping in Milan. Caterina went above and beyond. She did research before our appointment/tour and lined up four (4!!!!) special Milan suit places for us to visit. Two were ready made collections and two were appointments with special tailors who would make custom suits. The variety of the visits was perfect- two traditional and two modern. When the day came, having Caterina with us was amazing. While everyone could communicate with some english, having Caterina there to translate the details was a life saver. We were able to have specific conversations about what we wanted and learn a ton about what the suit makers/tailors thought was the best thing. When we went to the tailor made suit shops, Caterina was amazing at helping guide us through the process and broke everything down into steps for us. We got the best outcome we could have hoped for- a beautiful, tailor made suit for our wedding!! And the next day, when we went on a walking tour through Milan, another guide said (of the area of the places we visited with Caterina), “this is where real Milan people live and shop”. He didn’t even know we had purchased a suit there the day before! I cannot recommend Caterina enough. She made our Milan trip totally worth it and we are forever grateful!!! Book with Caterina and you won’t be sorry. She’s friendly, funny, energetic and knows her stuff!"

"I only wish we could have done a tour every day! I think both Caterina and I were curious how this Fashion Tour would go. I’m much older than the typical Fashion Tour client and I had never done a tour with With Locals. Well it turned out to be a great time. I was exposed to some of the local artisans which was why I signed up. But more than that I got to spend time with an open minded, open hearted local.
