"We booked the Withlocals Your Way - Milan City Tour and the Duomo & Terrace Tour, both with Armando. Armando did a fantastic job. We learned so much of the history of the city and its sights and landmarks; so much more information than we could possibly have gleaned without such an expert guide. Since we toured the Basilica and the Last Supper on our own, we were able to also include the Porta Nuovo and Brera districts, and the Piazza Gae Aulenti and Bosco Verticale. So we covered both the old and new of Milan. Armando was extremely knowledgeable about both. We were able to arrange the itinerary in advance using WhatsApp, and Armando tailored the tour to accommodate our wishes. I contacted several other tour agencies and guides, but none were enthusiastic about tailoring a tour. It was no problem with Armando. His English was excellent, so he was easy to understand in addition to being so knowledgeable. He was very congenial, so it was like being shown around Milan by a friend rather than just a tour guide"

We had been to Italy a few times and had a basic understanding of Milanese and local foods, so challenged Caterina to level up the tour to show us less typical foods and experiences. She did a great job and was a pleasure to learn from. She communicated well and kept my teenager engaged and intereste the entire time. "

"We arrived in Milan after an overnight flight from Boston. I thought a tour with a local guide would be a nice way to start our trip and orient ourselves to the city and local culture and customs. However, I was also nervous we’d be very tired! I was right! Caterina was a wonderful guide! She taught us so much - with a wonderful balance of local and regional history, and personal stories. There is something incredibly satisfying about a local person sharing their love of their home town with you. She even kept my very tired 13 and 14 year old daughters interested and happy! The food choices were delicious! I think the antipasto and the chocolates were my favorites!"
