"We were a group of 12 women (friends, relatives) who did the Pisa walking taste tour with Sara. Sara was a good communicator at the time of booking (where I could park & the meeting spot). She was on time to the meeting place and very friendly. She does a great job of explaining the local sites and taking you to some amazing places for tasting. We were all stuffed by the time our tour was over. We all loved Sara as our guide! 💕 I had previously visited Pisa in 2005 on a cruise ship stop on a Pisa tour booked through the ship. "We took a food tour with Sara, and had the best time. Sara is bright, fun, engaging, and her mastery of the English language is impressive: we understood every word that came out of her mouth! She told stories about Lucca and its history and mythology; pointed out major attractions, gave us recommendations for shopping and dining (all of which were quite good), and introduced us to many of the best foods of Lucca: the best gelato we have ever had, delicious chocolates, liquers, a wonderful gluten free flatbread, etc. It was a delightful way to get oriented to Lucca and to have some great foods on our first full day here. This is only our 4th food tour, but we now consider food tours to be the best way to spend part of the first day in any city that offers food tours.
