"We did the 10 tastings of Genoa with Thomas. We got to know Thomas, Genoa and its food culture over a few hours. We were two adults and two teenagers and we were all very happy with the tour. Thomas was a nice guy with a genuine interest for culture even though he works in a very different field. Prior to the tour we had told Thomas that one of us was a vegetarian. He had therefore customized the food tour to an all vegetarian tour. We got to taste fabulous pasta with pesto, different styles of amazing focaccia and caffe con panera among other things. Along with delicious food we also got into interesting discussions about the Italian society and got to learn a lot of the Italian way of life in different parts of Italy. Thomas made us feel welcome in the beautiful city of Genoa. "

"A fantastic beginning for our visit to Genoa and a highlight to our trip to Liguria. The ten tasting tour was a perfect fit for our group of four. Thomas is an excellent guide to the history and culture of Genoa. We tasted some delicious food for which this area is known from shops that the locals frequented. He has good rapport with the shop keepers. When you’re out with Thomas,you feel like you are a part of Genoa. We walked around admiring the buildings, the harbor and the city from different view points. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him discussing a wide range of topics from food to history to politics to computer programming. He generously extended our tour to make sure we took one of the city elevators that he had used to get to schoolwith a lovely view of the city."
