"During our stay in Florence, we arranged two separate days to explore Tuscany with Fabio - one to Siena and another to San Gimignano. Fabio was very active with us in advance to plan and customize these two tours to make the unique and special. He picked us up at our hotel in a very nice, spacious vehicle each day and conversed with us about not only our specific destinations, but also the history and culture of Tuscany. After visiting San Gimignano, we finished our Tuscany experience with a lovely lunch and wine tasting that he arranged for us at a local vineyard. "
"Marco was an amazing host. He is expert in art history and history of Fiesole. We were especially interested in the Etruscans and he did not disappoint. He conveys complex history with clarity and humor. We also enjoyed learning about the natural environment, trees, architecture, traditions. It was overall lovely. "Well, my tour couldn’t have gone better! It was totally tailored to me, as I wanted a mix of artisanal makers, food and drink. Dina was lovely and we chatted naturally as we meandered around the streets of Firenze, she introduced me to makers creating stunning, one-off artisanal pieces. I loved watching the process (and buying some beautiful things)! There were sweet treats and surprises along the way! And I feel I know the city a little better now. A wonderful wonderful tour, that felt like a mooch with a friend in the know! "
"We were incredibly lucky to meet Fabio during our visit to Florence! He took us around the area in his very comfortable van, showing to us the beauty of the countryside of Florence, amazing towns of San Gimignano, Certaldo. Then we had a fantastic lunch, amazing food with great wine, the lunch worth traveling to Florence alone! During the tour Fabio was telling us the stories about life in this area covering the historical part, everything was fascinating and greatly enjoyable! At the end of the day we were filled with positive energy from this wonderful region!
