We discovered aspects of this fascinating city we would never had found on our own, and her knowledge set us up for a great rest of our visit - we knew where to eat, what to look for, and some hidden gems. "We had a private food tour with Maria in Catania. She was very prompt meeting us. She gave us a very detailed history lesson about the town of Cantania. There were probably four or five stops for food tastings. All of them were very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would recommend her

Best Way to Learn about Catania
"We booked The 10 Tastings of Catania with Agata for my family of six and it was the highlight of our stay! It started off with a tour of the famous fish market and meandered through the historic section of Catania, stopping at some hidden gems for bites to eat. We tasted so many delicious local specialties and learned the history behind them. Do not eat before the tour as we were stuffed by the end, although we still managed to find room for granita! Our local guide Agata was very engaging and knowledgeable of Catania traditions and culture. At each stop she told a story about that particular food and its history in Sicily. This is my second time touring with Agata, and I highly recommend her!"
