"Absolutely brilliant tour. Ettore immediately adapted his tour when we said we’d prefer more savoury than sweet. All the food was awesome, some we had to bring home as we simply couldn’t manage it all. We loved hearing the history and myths behind unusual things we would have walked passed without noticing. When he learned that my boyfriend is a huge soccer fan and likes SSC Napoli​ and that my daughter’s grandparents were from Nola, he surprised us with unforgettable additions: a visit to the Napoli stadium​; a tour through the Maradona-dedicated areas of the city​; and​, a stop at the historic Porta Nolana - remnants of ​a medieval​ city gate that once led toward the town her grandparents were from. These thoughtful additions truly touched our hearts and made the day even more memorable and uniquely special. We wanted to change our flights home so my boyfriend could attend a Napoli match with Gennaro a few days later - it didn’t work out, but as we watched Napoli win, our hearts and thoughts were right there with Gennaro. We truly can’t wait for our next visit - whether in Napoli or when Gennaro comes to New York City! "
