"Walter was a great guide. Very personal and friendly. He gave us a good insight into the history and traditions. Unfortunately a number of sites were closed so I’d be wary of booking on a Sunday between 4pm and 6pm. Overall we did have a positive experience. "

A perfect day
"Walter helped navigate the area so we could make the best use of our time, on top of sharing the history of the area as only a local can. He was funny, kind and genuine. "
"I booked a private tour with Walter for a small group sailing together on a cruise. We met at a location convenient to walk to from the ship and got started right on time. Walter explained that our route would take us through all of the major neighborhoods in Cagliari, and explained a bit about the history and culture of each area. The focus of our tour was underground Calgiari, so we spent a good amount of time beneath churches and historical sites where ancient ruins had been found, and in some cases restored. It was fascinating, and we felt that we got a great value for what we paid vs a tour from the ship. I'm sure we covered more in 2.5 hours than the much more expensive 4 hour ship tour.
Note: there is a lot of walking on hilly streets, so be aware. We did have one member of our group who skipped the last part because of knee problems, but if you can manage the walking, the views are well worth it!
Walter was personable and fun, and interacted with the group in a very nice way, being sure to include everyone. We would 10/10 do it again, and if we return to Cagliari we will book another tour with Walter."
