"Though my ride didn’t go according to plan this was a truly rich experience with incredibly warm hosts. Walter kindly picked me up at no extra charge when I couldn’t get an Uber and throughout the experience was a fountain of historic and local knowledge regarding the island. The horses were well groomed and the volunteers and Sergio, the owner were all very warm and welcoming. I had specified some dietary requirements and Walter went out of his way to meet these which was truly appreciated. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to ride for as long as I would have wished, but all in all it was an experience for the books and I would love to revisit when I’m next in town."

"My wife and I were on a cruise with a one-day stop in Cagliari. We weren't sure how to take in all of the rich history and culinary traditions of Sardinia in such a short time. Then, we discovered Walter. He met us outside the cruise terminal gate, and and drove us to the highest of the seven hills surrounding Cagliari, where there was a walled-in city that dated back to the Roman era. We then proceeded to walk downhill along cobblestone streets and charming alleys enjoying the local fare, and even strolled through an open air market where we sampled many of the local foods. The price we paid meant that Walter paid for the food and even the wine that we sampled. We covered about seven miles of walking, eating our way down the hill. Of course, we were fine with the walking, and Walter had tailored this trip to our tastes. For those that want to walk less, he would assuredly tailor the day to your whims. "

"I was traveling solo, so this was a great way to see the city and try local favorites. Riccardo went above and beyond to make sure I was enjoying myself and planned out stops by what I enjoy. He even introduced me to a cheese made me cry because it “WAS THAT GOOD”! Sorry about that Riccardo. 😅 If you’re thinking about booking this tour, just do it. You won’t regret it. He’s well traveled, personable, and knows his town very well. Best if you can do first day in town, so you know the area and can follow his other recommendations"

"I had the most amazing time with Chiara! I was very nervous never having taken a Withlocals adventure before and I was told by the information desk near the cruise ship the meeting place was a long distance away. I messaged Chiara concerned, she just went above and beyond to make sure I was able to enjoy this experience. She fully catered this experience to how I was feeling in the heatwave and my nervousness about the cruise ship timing.
