We spent a full day with him exploring Old Delhi, including the alleys, markets and huvelis which were definitely off the beaten track, before heading on to Humayun’s tomb and New Delhi, taking in a South Indian restaurant in Connaught. We visited the temples of the major faiths and Viru provided a deep insight into each. We would never have been able to do so much in one day without him. Viru was also able to arrange our onward journey to Agra, together with an excellent colleague who took us to the Agra fort and incomparable Taj Mahal. A great guide with a great team. "Virendra führte uns auf die Tour nach Agra mit Taj Mahal etc. Im Hotel wurden wir pünktlich abgeholt und mit dem Zug ging‘s dann nach Agra. Die Reise per Zug ist wirklich zu empfehlen, man kommt so auch mal zu einem Gespräch mit anderen Reisenden ( Lokals), und natürlich mit Virendra. Verpflegung im Zug inbegriffen. Die Führungen dann vor Ort waren kompetent und wir hatten genügend Zeit, auch weitere andere interessante Themen mit Virendra zu diskutieren, und konnten von seinem grossen Wissen profitieren."

"Virendra ist ein hauptberuflicher Tourguide mit viel Erfahrung. Das merkt man, es gibt keine Ecke Indiens, in der er noch nicht war. Wir haben es nicht geschafft, ihm eine Frage zu stellen, die er nicht mit viel Spaß und Hintergrundwissen beantworten konnte. So war die Tagestour von Delhi zum Taj Mahal kurzweilig und sehr informativ. Wir baten Virendra auch, alle Souvenirshops und dergleichen wegzulassen, da wir davon schon genug hatten. Daran hat er sich auch gehalten, was wir ihm hoch anrechnen. Aus der Fahrer war super und sehr professionell. Alles in allem unbedingt zu empfehlen! Pro Tip: macht nicht die Sonnenaufgang-Tour, vor allem nicht aus Delhi. Das machen alle, daher ist es da extrem voll. Und man muss nachts um 3 in Dehli los. Wir sind um 6 los, und als wir um 10 da waren, waren die Sonnenaufgangs-Touris alle schon wieder weg. Wir haben an keiner Stelle auch nur eine Minute warten müssen. Und das Licht war trotzdem toll ;-)"
