"It was our first time travelling to India, my brother and I. Not sure what to expect as not many family/ friend has travelled to that country. Kiran was kind enough to explain, reply and advise us even before we confirmed his service. We met Kiran on our first morning in Mumbai where we’ve planned to travel in one of his many itineraries. He came with his car to ferry us around the outskirts of Mumbai. His calm and pleasant demeanour is the total opposite of Mumbai traffic, which is exactly what you need. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a local to bring them around Mumbai. Will definitely engage Kiran if we’re travelling to Mumbai again. "

"Having Purvi with us for this trip was initially a question of if it was necessary or worth the cost, but after we finished we realized it was all not only worth it, but it made it all such a better experience than we could have imagined. If you are a person new to India or someone with children and want to have the experience of visiting these Caves, then having Purvi there is a must. Not only was she great with the kids and very aware of their wellbeing and asking them good questions and caring for them, but she also helped us navigate the tricky ticket system involved that I wasn’t prepared for (even though I did my research online beforehand). There were at least 5 or 6 different situations where we had to have tickets or pay a toll and without her it would have not only been incredibly stressful but also we probably would have overpaid significantly (she even helped negotiate buying some trinkets on the way down from the caves). As the father who wanted to make sure everyone was safe, having her there made me so comfortable that I was actually able to enjoy the time rather than worrying the whole time. We booked our time the first afternoon after arriving in the country. It was the first time for any of us in India and the first time outside the US for our kids. Before we met her she was already giving us restaurant recommendations and was flexible with us when things took longer than we thought. We met near the ferry in a nice area and she guided us through the complicated entrance after pre buying the ferry passes for us which saved us a lot of time. She made us all safe getting onto the ferry and then spent the next hour talking with us and our kids, playing games with the kids, and making it such a great memory for them. When we got there she helped us figure out the getting to the caves and past all the people trying to sell us tours. She was patient with us getting up the hill and helped us figure out how to pay for the bathrooms as well. Once we got to the caves she helped us get the right passes into the caves and then when we got in she was amazing at finding great places in the space that weren’t crowded to tell us all the history behind the carvings and then also patient when our kids asked a ton of questions. She was able to be flexible with some of our kids hitting a wall of jet lag and heat and figured out how to adjust her plan for us to make it special without being too much. On the way back she also helped us get a treat for the kids (and pay the right price) and made sure we made the last ferry off the island (which wasn’t posted anywhere that I saw). The whole time we watched out for us and made sure all the kids were there and didn’t run off. She was also playful with the kids and let them be kids rather than expecting them to be adults. The ferry ride home she played games with the kids and helped them feed the seagulls that followed the boat (this might have been their favorite part). Overall, it was such a great experience that probably would have turned out to be a nightmare if we tried to navigate alone. Purvi also answered our random questions about things in India and helped us with things like prices to buy dresses for a wedding and what to eat the next day for street food along with making our kids feel safe and speaking to them like people. In addition to this she has experience in other countries so she understands what we were going through. Would give her an 11/10 if I could. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

"Do not miss this opportunity to have an Kiran provide you with unparalleled service. You truly will not find a better way to see Mumbai. Kiran’s tour included a private car and driver which allowed immediate access to all of the sites - no need to find parking or for walking from parking or public transit to sites. Kiran’s a lifelong Mumbai resident and his knowledge is impeccable. He was informative about the sites we ever seeing, but also about the life and culture. He was genuine in every regard. Kiran showed me the suburb tour with the fascinating Kanheri Caves, the lifestyle of the locals living within the park, then as it was Sunday with reduced traffic, Kiran was kind enough to also show me the Global Vipassana Pagoda and the Village of Gorai on the Northwestern part of the Island of Salsette on the Arabian Sea. There in what was originally a Portuguese Settlement we stopped by a local home, a boat manufacturer, and Gorai Beach. We finished out the day with a stop at Kiran’s home where I met his wife and daughter who joined us on the last stop to Basillica of our Lady of the Mount Mary. I am confident there is no other way to see as much and learn as much about Mumbai as you will on his tour. I was so impressed and we hit it off so well that he also guided me on city sites. Please, please, please consider Kiran and his tour if you want a top notch, first class, and dare I say PERFECT experience!!!"
