Join me for an authentic cooking class where I'll teach you how to prepare the oldest type of Hungarian fisherman's soup. You'll learn how to make it in the traditional way by using a Hungarian folk pot called "bogrács", over an open-air fire. Later, enjoy your creation with an appetizer & dessert!

Lots of fun for the whole family
"We had a wonderful time with Daniel and his family. It was great to learn how to make traditional fisherman's stew, and to get to participate in the process. The stew itself was fantastic. We also enjoyed a number of pastry creations his wife prepared. And throughout our time there we had numerous opportunities to down shots of homemade pálinka. :-) All in all, a great time was had by everyone. Thank you again!"

"I didn’t exactly know what I could expect but the host did an excellent job in introducing me to Hungarian cusine through the fish soup. The local setting gave a very real touch to the experience. I am not a great cook but this is a simple dish so I really enjoyed participating in making it. I also loved the pie. It was great fun!"

"I had a great time at the fih soup cooking course. I met a friendly family. I learnt the difference between the Baja and Szeged versions of Hungarian Fish soup. I was taught how to make „match-style” noodles served in the soup. Above all, I got to taste a delicious fish soup, along with other wonders of Hungary, for example the the Palinka , the wine. The desert was Hungarian style apple pie prepared by the host’s wife. I really recommend this truely Hungarian program!"
