"I took a 2-hour solo tour with Atreyu my first morning in Strasbourg; timing was perfect. He showed me the two best coffee shops in the Old City! My French is very limited, but he was comfortable and patient with me as I tried to switch back-and-forth between English and French. We had conversations about the sites and neighborhoods he showed me, it was not at all one-sided on his part (some tour guides just recite from a script). " I, along with my two adult daughters, took the "Kickstart Tour" of Strasbourg with Atreyu as our guide. It was a great experience. The 2 hour tour was extensive and gave a nice overview of the city. We started by walking through La Petite France, went on top of the covered bridge, up towards the Cathedral Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg (did not go into it on this tour but you should on your own), over to Saint-Pierre-le-Jeune (we went inside and it's worth doing so), and ended in Neustadt. So, we saw a fair amount and got a nice overview of the city. Along the way, our guide Atreyu provided us with a lot of good information. He knows about history and architecture and put the things we saw into context. All three of us learned new things. He also shared his knowledge of the local business including taking us to a liquor store where he made recommendations for some local beers, and he took us to a shop selling eclairs (which we went to the next day and the eclairs were fantastic). Atreyu is very personable with a good sense of humor, an excellent guide. Bottom line... I highly recommend this tour, especially if it is your first time in Strasbourg and I strongly recommend Atreyu to be your guide. "
