"Abdallah was an amazing guide and very intuitive. I had let him know I was really interested in knowing more about the art and architecture in Cairo. I loved every minute exploring downtown, mosques, marketplaces, sipping tea and getting a deeper understanding of Arabic time periods, evolving architectural and artistic styles. He wove the ancient, contemporary and Ottoman ages together - seeing how all are still dialoguing today through the many layers of Cairo. We had incredible conversation well into the evening - when the market lit up like a rainbow and the whole area became even more magical.
