"Our day with Jhoan was a highlight of our trip. In addition to the 10 Tastes Tour, and as it was our first time there, we asked him to talk about the history and people of Medellín. His knowledge was extensive and conveyed in a way to keep us captivated. Splendid personality, and smart sense of humor. The food was also fantastic. His knowledge of the best street vendors, paired with the history and tradition behind the dishes themselves made the experience richer. And there was definitely no shortage of food. Luckily, there were breaks, with art, coffee, and Aguardiente. He even showed us how to take the metro. I felt fortunate that we booked his tour for the beginning of our trip because it gave us a very solid foundation for understanding the culture. I recommend Jhoan with enthusiasm."

"Jhoan was an awesome guide and very knowledgeable about the area. He is born and raised in Medellin and draws much of his experience living through the turbulent years as he explains the history of Comuna 13 through art. The Comuna itself has transformed into a very touristy area, lined with sidewalk sellers. The area is unlike any place I’ve seen before and worth the time to explore. "
