"My wife and I recently did the 3-Hour, 10-Foods Tour in Cartagena and it was one of the highlights of our trip. "We booked the 3hr 10 tastings tour with Karen before we knew the weather forecast - torrential rain for 2 full days, totally flooded streets. Despite this Karen arrived full of smiles and positivity. We were treated to freshly baked jam filled breads (bakery was rammed out of the door but we went straight to the front), then freshly made (right in front of us) sweets. A 1mim walk to the next treat, Patacones, topped with big wedge of cheese. You MUST try in with the coriander sauce. Across the road, the street vendor pulled us up some chairs and we had a seafood cocktail. I don’t have enough space to describe all the delicious tastings but there were 10, including local beers in a very local setting. All the vendors were incredibly friendly and accommodating. But to compliment this Karen shared her vast knowledge of local culture and history, as a local herself. We wandered through several districts and two of the tastings were actually in people’s homes! I can’t stress enough how much this made what was a very wet and somewhat disappointing few days in Cartagena into a trip with wonderful memories. Thank you Karen you are clearly a foody and love your city, as now do we! Vikki & David"

"Karen was beyond amazing. She answered all of our questions, navigated us to places we would have never gotten to on our own, and of course introduced us to so many delicious dishes!! It was a perfect introduction for our week in Cartagena and really empowered us with knowledge and the layout of the city to guide the rest of our time.
