"Long is an amazing tour guide. He is a very kind man who clearly loves his people and culture. He is knowledgeable and explains many things along the way, taking time to explain the meaning of things as we explore the temples. Our time with him was well spent and I couldn't have imagined anyone better to guide me through the temples at Angkor Wat and others in the area. This was a bucket list trip and it didn't disappoint. Long is also a skilled photographer and helped us take many great photos to remember the day. I highly recommend this tour and Long as a tour guide. You cannot go wrong. "

"I first want to say how thoughtful and accommodating Long was as our tour guide. He communicated very quickly and answered any questions I had. He was also very punctual and made sure as we were leaving each location that we all had our belongings etc. I did have a concern for my group about walking long distances, since it is listed as a walking tour. However, once that was mentioned to Long, no questions asked he got two tuktuks available for our group at no extra charge! The food was very good! We really appreciated the route that he took. It seemed as if we were eased into eating more local foods by starting out with more simple or more tourist friendly spots until towards the end where it was purely locations filled with only locals. Long is super friendly and has great insight into any questions you might have about food, the culture, or the area/tours. He is very kind. He even offered to drop us back off directly at our hotel instead of our initial meeting point. Which is not something that he has to do at all. We were very happy with our experience with him and highly recommend him and this tour!!!"

"We booked the "The 10 Tastings of Siem Reap: Street Food" with Long and it was one of the best decisions that we made on our vacation! We learned so much not only about all the fantastic different dishes that we tastes on our tour, but also learned about their backgrounds, the cultural and historical contexts of different dishes and traditions behind them. Long was extremely knowledgeable, perfectly accommodating, and very very very personable, and generous with his time and knowledge. He went out of his way to contact us before the tour to ask if we had any food allergies or preferences so that he could adapt the tour to our specific needs and wishes. He even suggested the best times to meet to ensure that we catch the best vendors/restaurants while they were operating. He always made sure to let us know that there were alternatives available if we wanted to skip a dish (which we didn't, because everything was fantastic). During and between tastings, we also learned a lot from Long about local life in and around Siem Reap and Cambodia in general. This was more than just a food tour, it was also a cultural and history tour! My partner who is a total foodie and had spend 2 days trying to get a sense for local cuisine said after the tour "Now I get it! I'm so happy we did this - this completely changed my perspective on what Cambodian food is and it was the best experience of the trip for me". We enjoyed every minute of our time with Long who always made sure that we were having a good time. It was extremely heartwarming how hospitable he was and how kind he was and grateful that we were so interested in Cambodian food, history, and culture, and thanked us a lot for supporting him and the community by visiting and engaging with locals like himself. "We did the “10 Tastings of Siem Reap: Street Food” tour privately with Long. His communication beforehand was excellent and created excitement for the day. I mentioned I had a knee issue and didn’t want to walk far, and he arranged a tuk-tuk at no extra cost, which made a big difference. The market was the highlight, not only because of the huge variety of exotic produce (from vegetables and fruits to prepared foods), but also because we got a glimpse into local life. We learned about the women who travel from the countryside to sell their goods without even having a stall. Seeing how they were given a small place on the floor, and hearing Long explain how that system works, offered a grounded sense of daily reality and community. We tasted a wide range of foods. The best were the cold rice noodles we had at the market, the beef skewers with baguette and pickles and a coconut waffle. We had many others too, not every tasting was incredible, but what made this tour special was Long’s openness about how Cambodian food traditions have changed, what has been lost, and how his generation adapts today. He made sure we were never without water, reminded us to pace ourselves, and checked in frequently to make sure we were comfortable. Some spots were closed or crowded, but he always had thoughtful alternatives ready. All places were run by locals. Overall, a genuine and informative recommendation if you want more than just food, but also context and real stories behind Cambodia’s cuisine."

"We really enjoyed your Street food tour and the great things we tasted! And we absolutely enjoyed having Long as our guide, his amazing knowledge about the food, Siam Reap and Cambodian history in general makes him someone you would want to spend more time with, as he embodies Cambodian hospitality and friendliness. I am sure any local experience with Long would be amazing ... We are quite curious travellers and had already visited several local eating places (restaurant would be too fancy a word), but it was cool to have someone take us really off the track, in particular on the street food market. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes and variety we experienced. Long even helped our kids find fried crickets and look for a tarantula, even if this was not part of the tour. Totally amazing and recommendable."
