"We did the “10 Tastings of Siem Reap: Street Food” tour privately with Long. His communication beforehand was excellent and created excitement for the day. I mentioned I had a knee issue and didn’t want to walk far, and he arranged a tuk-tuk at no extra cost, which made a big difference. The market was the highlight, not only because of the huge variety of exotic produce (from vegetables and fruits to prepared foods), but also because we got a glimpse into local life. We learned about the women who travel from the countryside to sell their goods without even having a stall. Seeing how they were given a small place on the floor, and hearing Long explain how that system works, offered a grounded sense of daily reality and community. We tasted a wide range of foods. The best were the cold rice noodles we had at the market, the beef skewers with baguette and pickles and a coconut waffle. We had many others too, not every tasting was incredible, but what made this tour special was Long’s openness about how Cambodian food traditions have changed, what has been lost, and how his generation adapts today. He made sure we were never without water, reminded us to pace ourselves, and checked in frequently to make sure we were comfortable. Some spots were closed or crowded, but he always had thoughtful alternatives ready. All places were run by locals. Overall, a genuine and informative recommendation if you want more than just food, but also context and real stories behind Cambodia’s cuisine."

"We have just returned from our 10 tastings of Siem Reap with Dorn. We have been lucky enough to experience food tours around SE Asia and all of them wonderful in their own way. Dorn presented Siem Reap street food the way the locals eat. No Michelin stars. Just hop on a tuk tuk and visit some amazing and challenging street food establishments either in a local restaurant or side of the street vendors. We experienced some amazing tastes. From delicious beef skewers over charcoal and fantastic noodle dishes to challenging our taste buds with eating crickets, silk worms and cicada. Surprisingly, they were really tasty. Dorn is a fantastic host and never pressured us in trying foods that he felt we wouldn't like. He is super friendly and is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Siem Reap food scene. We thoroughly recommend this tour."
