"Ngoun met us in our hotel lobby with a van and driver arranged, and took us around the temples beyond Angkor Wat itself: Angkor Thom, Bayon, Preah Khan, Neak Poan, and Pre Rup to finish. He got the order exactly right. Bayon — the mountain of towers with the huge smiling stone faces — was a highlight, and Ngoun did a great job engaging our kids with the bas-reliefs there, which tell stories of battles and everyday life from 800 years ago. He pitched the detail just right for them. Preah Khan felt totally different — sprawling and half-wild, with trees growing through the ruins — and Neak Poan is a small island temple you reach by walking a long causeway across a man-made lake. He saved Pre Rup for last, timing it nicely with the setting sun, which makes its reddish brick glow. A perfect finish. The whole day ran smoothly, and we got far more out of it than we ever would have trying to piece together the dates and stories ourselves from a guidebook and the internet. Fantastic guide — highly recommended."

"My experience in Cambodia exceeded all of my expectations. Nguon (Lux) and our driver were outstanding. They were punctual and greeted us with cold water and refreshing towels after each stop, which was especially appreciated in the Cambodian heat.
