Reviews from guests about our tours and locals
"Long was an exceptional guide for our Siem Reap city tour, blending deep local knowledge with a warm, engaging personality. He tailored the itinerary perfectly to our interests. His excellent English and storytelling made history come alive, from ancient Khmer traditions to modern Cambodian life. What really stood out to us was how kind and genuine he was. We really enjoyed getting to know him and we’d book with him again without hesitation."
"Long was on time, he suggested a central meeting spot in Siem Reap. The walking tour took us through the morning market. Long described the types of spices and foods that Cambodians eat and enjoy on a daily basis. Food is a great way to learn about a country and it’s people. We continued on to a Buddhist monastery complete with library, language school and K-12 school. The monastery is quite beautiful. Long explained the traditions behind many of the buildings and activities. After a brief rest stop we visited a Buddhist Pagoda and learned more about this important religion in Cambodia and its relation to India. Next we went to the Kings compound and had a look around. We enjoyed our three to four hours with Long. He is very knowledgeable and very patient with our questions. I would highly recommend Long as your tour guide. Thank you for a wonderful tour of Central Siem Reap."
"If this guide is available, I can only suggest you book him quickly. He’s a gem of Siem Reap. "
"We did the Hidden Gems tour with Ngoun, and it was absolutely amazing. He has incredible knowledge of Siem Reap and took us to places we never would have discovered on our own. The tour felt very authentic and personal, and Ngoun shared so many interesting stories and insights along the way. I highly recommend doing this tour if you want to experience a different side of Siem Reap, and I can’t recommend Ngoun enough - he is an outstanding guide and truly passionate about what he does."
"I really appreciated Long's knowledge of how the food was made, as well as his kindness on the trip."
"Once again Long provided a thoughtful customized tour of Siem Reap that was perfect for what we needed. We started out by going to the old market in the morning where Long told us about the various goods on sale and their connection to the area which was very informative and interesting. Next we visited a few of the working Wats in the city and got to see what life was like for the monks living there. Long was very knowledgeable about Buddhism and the lifestyle of the monks and was able to teach us a ton that we would not have known if we had gone without a guide. Finally we went to the outskirts of the city where we got to get the taste of the “real” Cambodia and saw rice paddy fields and lotus farms along the Tonle Sap lake. The tour concluded with a stop at a local artisan craft center where we got to see local artists make carvings, wood reliefs, and leather goods. All in all it was an amazing day and great value for the money. I highly recommend Long as a tour guide of this amazing part of the world and plan to use his services again when I come back! "
"Lux was a great guide and went to lengths to help us see the best parts of Siem Reap and also arranged for us to take some photographs of some young monks at a temple. He was friendly and very knowledgable and we had a great time with him. He had listened to what we wanted and he delivered. Would recommend. The Tuk Tuk was great fun to travel around on."
"long met me at our hotel, he was very knowledgeable about Siem Teap, I enjoyed my tour with him"
"Dorn is a lovely host who displays a passion for Siem Reap, it's people and culture. We spent 3 hrs talking and walking around town visiting areas that we would not have known if it wasn't for Dorn. He has plenty of great recommendations on other places to visit and eat if you want to pick his brain."
"Ngoun is a local guide, ideal person to discover the hidden gems of Siem Reap! We drove around in a tuk-tuk and visited a local ceramics shop, temples and a place where Cambodian people where practicing craftsmanship such as stone carving. I can recommend!"
