"Hi John was very knowledgeable and we watched the sunrise over Angie way in a beautiful place away from the crowds. We went to the other temples bayon and the tomb raider temple which was fantastic. John went above and beyond to help us and we went over time and took us anywhere we wanted to go. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend him.

"This was our second tour with Long, and such an emotional one. Visiting Kampong Phluk, a fishermen village on the Tonlé Sap lake is as rare occasion to discover Cambodia, hidden beyond its majestic temples.
And getting there in the late hours of daylight, in dry season, displayed the reality of families between their boats, and their houses nested on the top of high rising wooden poles many meters above water level: fragility, solidarity, determination. The history of humanity since ever. And a wonderful view at the lake horizon to provide serenity and hope. "

Unforgettable experience
"Unfortunately, John was having some health issues and he had is friend Makara provide the tour instead. This was not an issue. Makara was wonderful.
The tour started early, which allowed us to have front row seats to a beautiful sunrise over Angkor Wat. After seeing the Angkor Wat complex, Makara took us to different temple complexes that were not crowded. He provided insightful history about each of our visits. Riding around the complex in a jeep was a great, efficient way to see the complex. I would recommend this tour!"

Review about Ngoun
"This was our second tour with Lux. We wanted to experience life outside of Siem Reap. This was a great morning with our two kids, 12 and 15, visiting a local village food market and seeing the floating villages on stilts on the lake. Lux was again so informative, so easy to be with and the trip felt perfectly paced for our family. Seeing the community on foot, boating on the lake and rowing through the mangrove forests were all highlights. Vegans or vegetarians may find the locals market a bit intense and should ask to skip this part imho."
"We had a quick tour with Meng just after our arrival to Siem Reap and it was a lovely way to start the visit. The tour started in a location that was easy to find, Meng was there waiting for us, and we immediately started eating. We were concerned that we would have to go somewhere else to go eat after our "tastes", but we were full before the tour was finished and couldn't try the last tasting. The tuk tuk ride gave us a chance to see some parts of the city we probably wouldn't have visited, and Meng provided us with some interesting bits of information about the city. Would definitely recommend."
"We did two tours with Lux… One to the floating fishing village, and the other to the Angkor Wat temples… Both tours were professionally conducted… With exceptional knowledge of the historical sites, Cambodian culture & history…Lux has wealth of information and knowledge that complemented our experience on both days.
Answered all of our questions… And he has exceptional communication skills. His command of the English language provided great value to both tours. We would highly recommend Lux as a tour guide for those who would like an in-depth, insightful and knowledge based tour of Cambodia… From an informal walk-through in a busy street market… to educational/informative tours of temples… & even at times an impromptu visit to a local home. In our opinion, Lux is your go-to tour guide in Cambodia. Wade & Chris. (May 2024) "
"We had a lovely visit to Angkor Wat with John. It was great that John also had a driver with him, which made the day run very smoothly. John shared great details about the temple and we enjoyed watching the sunrise. We also visited several other temples that were part of the Angkor complex & John was very helpful with capturing some great photos of our visit. If you’re considering this tour, I would highly recommend! Without a guide, we would
have missed out on so many interesting details. "
"John was reliable, knowledgeable, answered all our questions prior and during the tour, and he was fast with responses! I’m so grateful to him for his care and assistance! I highly recommend hiring him for a great Cambodia temple experience.
John, thank you so much!!! "
