"It has been more than 30 years since I’ve been back to Antwerp! The food tour was excellent with just the right amount of banter (interesting background details about the places I had passed in the past but didn’t realise its history) The food and drinks were varied / interesting and it introduced me to tasting items I would otherwise have missed (like the chocolate drink and Belgium fries with **** (do the tour they’re good). Edna is a super enthusiastic host (I did select a private tour by myself) and knowledgeable about Antwerp; she is a local and the amount of people she knows/recognises is unbelievably. She was super agreeable to various changes I had to make when scheduling the tour. Lol she is also very punctual I arrived 15m early (strange city) and when I contacted her via chat she was already at the meeting point (I wasn’t!). The pace was just right and we were very lucky to have s sunny day (I’m March). I can strongly recommend Edna as your local guide to Antwerp!!! TY Edna, I had the best time!"

Her enthusiasm was infectious. She was extremely professional and on a personal level was so kind to my partner who has early onset Alzheimer’s. It was a joy to watch how much he understood and appreciated her input but more than that, she was unfailingly kind to him. Along the way she met other guides all of whom went out of their way to greet her and sometime give her a hug. That speaks volumes. "Etienne gave my husband and I a fantastic historical insight into the history of Antwerp, the diamond trade, the Jewish culture and traditions in addition to the construction of central station. His knowledge was incredible, the private tour took us on a journey of the streets surrounding the station, visiting landmarks of significance with a thorough understanding of local traditions. We would most definitely book Etienne again when we are next in Antwerp. "
