Reviews from guests about our tours and locals
"We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Rosana. She shared a wealth of information about the history and culture of Buenos Aires, and the food was excellent and plentiful. Rosana made us feel very welcome and she is very easy to talk to. Highly recommend this tour with Rosana!"
"We had a wonderful food tour in Buenos Aires with our guide Ines Ruggiero. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to the city. In just a few hours she took us to a mix of historic cafés and local neighborhood spots that we definitely would not have found on our own. We sampled a great variety of classic Argentine foods including medialunas at Confitería La Piedad, empanadas at La Cocina, sandwiches at Café Paulín, pizza and fainá at Las Cuartetas, chorizo with chimichurri at Almacén Suipacha, and desserts at the historic café Confitería La Ideal. Everything was delicious and it was fun to try so many different dishes in one afternoon. Ines was friendly, knowledgeable, and very passionate about Argentine food and culture. She explained the traditions behind the dishes and answered all of our questions. We especially enjoyed learning about mate and the history of Buenos Aires cafés. If you want a relaxed and authentic introduction to Buenos Aires food culture, we highly recommend this tour with Ines."
"We were looking for a local to show us the best spots in Palermo for drinks and snacks. What we got was a digital marketing professional and college professor who knows Buenos Aires like the back of her hand! She is a true local expert. Julieta pointed out street art to us and gave us a couple pointers on artists’ works to keep an eye out for. Over drinks, she gave us a complete history of Argentina ranging from politics, to economy, to daily life. The places she picked had the best wine, beer, spirits, and food we’ve had all week in Palermo. We left feeling like we made a true friend. Julieta is someone I would be proud to host in my home city. 10/5 stars hands-down. "
"Ines is a friendly and enthusiastic guide. Her English is perfect and she has spent some time in the US so she is able to contrast some of the local customs of Argentina against the customs of the US. We did the Food Tastings tour with Ines and she took us to a cafe to taste some of the local pastries while exposing us to mate (an Argentinian brewed beverage) that she had covertly packed in her backpack. It was a great exposure to something we wouldn't have otherwise experienced in Buenos Aires. We stopped at a pizza place -- the pizza was nothing like American pizza. We also stopped for some choripan (sausage on bread). Lastly, we had some very good ice cream. Ines continually engaged with our kids (ages 14 and 16) and she felt like one of the family as she was with us for several hours. You will not be disappointed -- book any tour with Ines! "
"Rosana was everything you want in a tour guide. She was knowledgeable and fun and provided an honest perspective of living in Argentina. One member of our group is gluten free and she made sure to find great spots that had options including a place with amazing gluten free puzza"
"Inés was a delight and shared lots of insight into both the food, the city, and the traditions. We would highly recommend. "
"We had an amazing time, not only with interesting tastings but also a lot of information about Buenos Aires, Argentina and its history. Lots of food and drinks and we were really satisfied with the experience. Rosana had very good answers to our questions and gave us useful advice on restaurants and tango places. "
"Rosana was a wonderful tour guide. We really enjoyed our time with her, infused with personal stories about the food and culture of Buenos Aires. And, some great food tastings. We would definitely recommend her to others."
"We spent a wonderful afternoon with Ines! She was so easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the city. She took us to some fantastic places but the most rewarding part was spending time with her. She taught us about local customs and what it's like to be a "porteña". We could not have asked for a better guide, she was amazing 😍."
"Maggie was wonderful and was so knowledgeable! I would book with her next time!"
