Reviews from guests about our tours and locals
"Inés was a delight and shared lots of insight into both the food, the city, and the traditions. We would highly recommend. "
"We had an amazing time, not only with interesting tastings but also a lot of information about Buenos Aires, Argentina and its history. Lots of food and drinks and we were really satisfied with the experience. Rosana had very good answers to our questions and gave us useful advice on restaurants and tango places. "
"Rosana was a wonderful tour guide. We really enjoyed our time with her, infused with personal stories about the food and culture of Buenos Aires. And, some great food tastings. We would definitely recommend her to others."
"We spent a wonderful afternoon with Ines! She was so easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the city. She took us to some fantastic places but the most rewarding part was spending time with her. She taught us about local customs and what it's like to be a "porteña". We could not have asked for a better guide, she was amazing 😍."
"Maggie was wonderful and was so knowledgeable! I would book with her next time!"
"It was obvious that Juli loves the food and culture of Buenos Aires, and loves to share it with others. The tour featured intriguing places and tastes in the heart of the city, many of which were totally new to us. She shared a knowledge of both historical and gastro delights at each stop. It was especially fun to be with her as a small (4pp) group where we could tap into her experiences in personal way. She is delightful and we highly recommend this tour and her as a guide."
"My family and I visited Buenos Aires for the first time so we were looking forward to this food tour to get a sense of the city and Argentinian culture. Rosana was a wealth of knowledge. We were expecting just a food tour where the conversation would be all around food, but with Rosana we got to learn about many aspects of Argentina's history. We could ask her about anything and she would share her perspective as a local. So it was a great experience overall to eat and have a guide who could teach us much more about Argentina. The food was decent, we went to 4 spots that were frequented by locals. We were happy with the chance to eat and experience life in Buenos Aires like a local. Outside of the tour, Rosana was also very helpful in providing restaurant recommendations and making reservations at Don Julio when we weren't getting any response from the restaurant ourselves. We're grateful that she went out of the way to do this eventhough it wasn't strictly part of the tour. Thanks for a lovely experience!"
"Maggie was outstanding and by the end we were like old friends….almost family. She loves her city and she loves sharing it with others. The food was amazing and bountiful. Be ready to pace yourself. We had pizza, barbecue, Revuelto de gramajo (pay potatoes with eggs ham and chives), Matambrito relleno con ensalada rusa (stuffed beef skirt with Russian salad), Aarincini with Lincoln cheese and mushrooms, Buñuelos de espinaca (spinach fritter), Milanesa a caballo con fritas (Argentinian schnitzel with egg on top and fries), and Berenjenas al escabeche (pickled eggplant) Thank you Maggie! You were outstanding. "
"Since our Food Tour was on Sunday, we sent a note to Rosana a few months in advance, asking if she could include a visit to the San Telmo market. She agreed immediately, suggesting we meet her there an hour earlier. We would have been overwhelmed on our own. We had a mate demo and tasting and even shopped. Then, into a taxi for our terrific tastings in thd Theatre District, always in a relaxed atmosphere, with wine and beer. The food was delish and lots of it, finishing at a European Stlye Tea Room for coffee and pastry. We talked non stop and Rosana shared her take on the city and Argentina's history. She is awesome! Lots of shopping tips, ate all the typical local dishes and had lots of fun. Thank you, Rosana! The best first day in BA ever! "
"We had a great 3 and a half hours with Aida. Even though this was a food tour, we learned a ton about Argentinian history and the culture in Buenos Aires through a fun and engaging conversation throughout the day. I cannot recommend her enough. "
