Enjoy a Prosecco adventure with a Natural Wine Connoisseur and Local Bacaro Owner in the heart Venice!
We will begin this tour with a magical stroll through the streets of Venice! Your guide will provide you with an introduction to Venice, the local history, and Venetian lifestyle on your way to meet up with your local wine connoisseur, Mattia, in his Venetian Bacaro, located off the main streets in a quiet square and specializing in only natural wines.
This Prosecco tasting will be all about the historical fermentation process of this delicious Italian bubbly wine. You will be learning and tasting at the same time! The wines you will be tasting are all-natural from the growth of the grape to the fermentation and don't give you a hangover!
Did you know that Venetians prefer Prosecco to Champagne? Do you know the difference? If you said no to either of those, this tour is for you! And even if you said yes, why not? You can come too!
I will meet you at our meeting point Zattere, a beautiful location along the Giudecca canal, where I will begin sharing stories and history of Venice with you!
On our way to the local Bacaro for the tasting, I will take you through winding streets of Venice and share with you the local life and where Venetians go to eat and drink!

Your tour leader will accompany you to the Bacaro for the Prosecco tasting and introduce you to Mattia the Wine Tasting host! Where we will have our own table reserved in the quiet square of his Bacaro, away from the crowds!4 Tastings + 1
Mattia will walk you through a journey of Bubbles and natural prosecco. There will also be some cicchetti for tasting during the journey. In fact you will get one cicchetto specially paired to that wine that you are tasting. You will taste a total of 4 different wines and tapas and be allowed to choose your favorite at the end for a full glass!
