We pick you up upon agreement from your hotel for a scenic ride to the most famous castle of our Fairy Tale King Ludwig II: NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE. During the ride you can lean back and enjoy the lush beauty of the Alpine countryside and learn the history of the castle and it’s surroundings.

You get a perfect view of the Neuschwanstein Castle from Marienbrücke, a bridge, which is about 98 feet (30 meters) high. You also get to enjoy the typical Bavarian landscape and the spectacular panorama of mountains. After your tour in the Castle, if time and weather permit, we can even visit a lovely alpine lake close to the castle and try the water for a swim.

During this private tour, you will also have some free time for lunch at a traditional Bavarian restaurant or we just grab a sandwich and keep on moving.

We can offer additional hours to the tour to suit your personal needs. This gives you time for a short hike in the area or to explore the charming town of Füssen. We can also add a stop at the famous rokoko Church Wies. Please let us know how long you would like your private tour to last and we will arrange everything to your full satisfaction.

At the end we‘ll take you back to your hotel after this amazing experience.

What you should know before your trip to Neuschwanstein Castle:

It takes approximately 30 minutes to walk from the ticket office to the castle, around 1.5 kilometers on a steep uphill road. If you prefer not to walk uphill, an optional horse-drawn carriage will take you most of the way to the top. There is also an option of taking a bus uphill.

Neuschwanstein Castle has 5 floors. There is a lift which makes it possible for wheelchair users and persons with reduced mobility to take part in the tours of the castle (registration required).

If you would like to enter Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle for a guided tour, please reserve online in advance. Tickets are subject to availability.
