Here’s an overview of your tour
Let's embark on a fascinating journey to discover the history and art of Jakarta. We'll start by exploring the Old Town, a place that brings the past to life with its historic buildings and cobbled streets.
In Old Town we will find out the history at Fatahillah Museum. You will get a best picture about Jakarta from 1619 to present days.
We'll then visit Wayang Kulit (shadow puppet) workshop to find out how Wayang make directly from the artist
To add more art to our adventure, we'll go to the China Town where Chinese came at the first time in Batavia. We will visit one of the oldest temple that build in 18th century.
Then we will take a look the history of maritime at Maritime Museum and the famous Sunda Kelapa harbour. You will find the harbour where VOC landed for the first time in 1619.
Our tour will finish at Sarinah, a big store. You can shop, eat, or just enjoy the lively atmosphere. It's a great way to end our day of exploring Jakarta's history and art.
