Enjoying the night after whole day hard working is typical of Yogyakarta people. Alun - alun kidul / South square of Sultan Palace is one of favourite place for Yogyakarta people to enjoy the night with family or friends. Playing the lucky game and drinking "Wedang Ronde"(traditional beverage) is a must whenever you visit this place. If you're interested, you can rent a bicycle which is modify with full of lamp and ride around the square.

Elsewhere, you can visit Bukit Bintang. Place where you can see the flickering of Yogyakarta city lamp in the night from bird eye view. A cup of tea or coffee and roasted corn will accompany your cheerfulness.
