Here’s an overview of your tour
Welcome aboard my traditional Dutch canal boat, 'Delphine' (my daughter's name). I'm your captain Vanessa, I sometimes work with Frederik & Eduard my boat partners, and I will take you on a private boat tour through the most beautiful canals in Amsterdam.
Join me and hop in my 100-year-old canal boat, and enjoy a non-touristic ride just for you. My quirky boat is perfect to cruise in any weather condition. Different from other boats in Amsterdam, I made mine electric and with heating. This way, nothing can stop us!
On this private tour, all you have to do is sit back and relax! I'll take you on a beautiful cruise along the canals while pointing at important landmarks, monuments, buildings and any other highlight that we might encounter along the way. I love telling you about social life in Amsterdam as well. And as a perk, enjoy a drink as you admire the stunning city scenery.
'Delphine' will take you through the canal area, and I will tell you stories about the 17th century life and of course, stories about contemporary life in Amsterdam. Cruise under the lowest bridges in town towards the Spiegelgracht followed by the beautiful Prinsengracht. Floating along the canal area, you can also see historical canal houses of the 17th century, contemporary houseboats, the skinny bridge at the Amstel river, the Anne Frank house and the beautiful bohemian neighborhood the Jordaan.
Built in 1915, 'Delphine' only holds 10 passengers, and it fits under the smaller bridges no other regular boat can reach. This gives us access to smaller and more secluded canals, away from the touristy crowd.
