Since bikes are all around in Amsterdam, the best way to kickstart this local experience is at the central station with some fun facts about this transportation mode in Amsterdam. I have created a scenic route that will take you to the best parts of the city like Nieuwmarkt one of the most famous and central squares. So, let's start riding!
Cross stylish bridges like the Blue Bridge and ride along the Amstel river. The views are incredible and the bike path will lead you to discover some of the city's hidden gems. One of them is the old cemetery, designed in an old English style. I have plenty of stories to tell you about this place!
It's time for a short break, Dutch-style! Let's sit down by the riverside while enjoying a plate of 'bitterballen'. After this short break, we're heading to the exotic yet man-made forest of Amsterdam. Bike through the forest and move on to the Olympic Stadium through Amstelveenseweg.
On our way back to the meeting point, the scenic route continues while riding along the Prinsengracht. Stop in front of the Westerkerk and catch a glimpse of the Anne Frank Huis. I'll tell you the stories behind it and the history.
